did i take a leap of faith,

although ephemeral, that firm touch of yours,
probably was, what I was searching for,

it took me by surprise,
not you, my own feelings those were in a disguise,

i had forgotten being close, that's how i thought,
it didn't take much for me to be again taught,

seems, you took that leap of faith,
locking yourself into my arms, as i looked straight,

avoiding an eye contact, as it would have never lied,
you still moved a heart, which worried being later denied,

while you talked to me,
I pitied the short ride,

will there be a tomorrow,
is all i cared then, as i caressed you in tow.
