Why Wait

They say why you wait,
To be firm would be a desired trait,
Why your life is going in circles,
Defying everything we believe is straight,

I will accept the routine only after an open debate,
Enjoyed I have, deviations from whatever you feel should be the case,
Whether convoluted or determinable,
Under my own control lies my fate.
