Its been a while, I first saw an unfamiliar smile,
Those wide notorious eyes and never settling arms,
In just a walk down that aisle, seemed to me she covered a mile,
It was a sight, worth the wait and I had no qualms,
Breaking prejudices, she talked right through my reserved style,
The dusk was settling in, but a few moments more did no harm,
Its been a while, and holding onto that one memory looks juvenile,
Finite space finite life, there is always room for one another time.
