A tumultuous voyage beckons, as I leave these known shores,
In search of an utopian island, where joys of life galore,
Faced with high tides and sea demons, we did retreat the last time,
Countless casualties and misery, make us doubt we will go that far,
Neverthless, move ahead is the encore, as we push ourselves into the ocean,
Waves of uncertain waters hurt us, causing an imminent harm,
Here comes a night so dark, we didn't even oil the lanterns,
Already restrained by high seas, the boat hasn't moved beyond the nearby caverns,
Our minds say its safe to turn back, where comforts of home prevail,
The unrelenting explorers that we were, seem to be flagging off,
Confined in bounds established, we intend not to be reckless,
Utopian shores may lay bare, yet mindful of fatal dangers these explorers wish to stay,
They know of the Columbus, who traveled West in search of East, at some point he called his sail off,
Finding his fantasies lying there, different from ones he perceived.
