Some words that stick on

Those words, borrowed may be,
But they stick on,
A belief in them is to our disposal,
Intriguing but attractive is the proposal, 

The whole or the part,
Being aware of eventuality, would be smart,
Gazing at the couplets extending into verses,
Humming along as I fathom the emotions they evoke,

Of promises made between strangers,
Relevance in our lives the same words invoke,
Separated by several miles,
We may still be driving on the same roads.
