The Most Amazing Paan

I am a foodie to the core,or should I say foodie to the stomach? I have managed to keep a status quo on my weight in the past two months that I have spent in delhi. This is not a minor achievement given the intake I have on the city roads.

The other day in the dark of delhi (for me its dark here at 8 pm,especially in winters!) I managed to lay my hands at the most amazing paan I ever had. This is probably the first time I am trying to ENGLISHoFI paan that too with Wikipedia's support

Paan, from the word pān in Hindi: पान, is an Indian and South East Asian tradition of chewing betel leaf (Piper betle) with areca nut and slaked lime paste.

The one thing I dont like about myself I am too bad at knowing names of ingredients even though I am a great food and can smell good food from miles. So what was amazing about this paan. First of all it was my age old customary MEETHA paan. But it was just so big, it didnt fit in my 8 cubic inch mouth. The gulkand and other sweet stuff was just oozing out of its core as I tried to chew it. Ok so it was big what next, it wasn't the banarasi or Kolkata that I have had till date. So I dont know what betel leaf it was. May be it was one of those though most original version.

The paanwallah was busy counting tons of money with him in the diplomatic area of delhi. I must have chewed it was a legendary 8 mins. But for its size I would have definitely opted for another. So YOU the paan enthusiast must be wondering where is this AWESOME place. It is right next to the claridges and I hear this guy is very very popular.
