The Road

I walked the road less traveled, it was raining on this one
drenched spirits soaked not in sweat for a change

I could feel the momentary rush of youth and energy
Sending me ten years back when I was at school

It used to rain soaked in sweat then I used to toil hard
Life wasn't easy, so I thought, It wasn't fair

Only wealth that was what separated one from other, so I thought
Life stalled as I walked the road others walked with their umbrellas on

I could feel the air the stillness and calm, I could smell the rain
The admiration of my surroundings for once made a point in the case

What use the wealth is which takes me off such a beautiful road,
the one I walked today....
