A tough call

Preposterous, it sounds,
This stand off, which haunts our lives,

You were listening,
While I spoke,

I reciprocated, to those niceties, 
Being delivered bespoke,

Commendable was the effort you put,
To serve my whims and fancies,

Reverberating, two souls,
Going crazy, in making one call,

Surviving, in times not so kind,
No harm then is there in trying,

A tough call in our faces, which stares,
Now or never, but who will dare...
